Our Certificates
ISO 9001 ensures robust quality management, while ISO 14001 emphasizes environmental stewardship. Together, they certify that a company maintains high standards in both product quality and environmental responsibility, ensuring efficient and sustainable operations.
The BRC Certificate verifies that a company meets the BRC Global Standards for safety, quality, and operational practices in sectors like food, packaging, and consumer goods. It demonstrates compliance with industry regulations, ensuring products are safe, high-quality, and produced responsibly. The "Grade A" designation signifies the highest level of achievement.
SMETA
A SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) certificate verifies that a company has undergone an ethical audit assessing labor conditions, health and safety, environmental performance, and business ethics. It is the world’s most widely used social audit, helping organizations improve working conditions and demonstrate compliance with ethical trade standards.
Biodegradable & Sustainable
Biodegradability refers to the ability of materials to naturally break down into harmless substances. This is especially important for shoe soles, which typically release microplastics as they wear out. These tiny particles contaminate our oceans, soil, and even the air we breathe.
By using biodegradable materials for shoe soles, we can prevent microplastics from entering the environment. As these soles wear down, they decompose naturally, reducing pollution and protecting ecosystems. Opting for biodegradable soles is a step towards a cleaner, healthier planet.
Sustainable. From Production to End Product.
Step Zero produces in Switzerland and Europe, adhering to and exceeding the standards for environmental protection and employment regulations. This commitment ensures that our products are made responsibly, with respect for both the planet and the people involved in their creation.
